AEROSMITH, JIMMY BUFFETT AND THE CORAL REEFER BAND, JACK JOHNSON, AND FALL OUT BOY SET TO MAKE WAVES AT KAABOO DEL MAR 2016
San Diego, CA (April 27, 2016) – Get excited for KAABOO Del Mar’s second year music announcement! The “mix-perience” of a lifetime, presented in partnership with Mercedes-Benz USA, is returning to the world- famous Del Mar Racetrack & Fairgrounds in Del Mar (San Diego), CA for our second outing, September 16-18, 2016.
Joining already announced headliner Jack Johnson, will be musical legends Aerosmith and Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, along with chart-topping alt. rockers Fall Out Boy. The extensive lineup also includes Lenny Kravitz, Hall & Oates, The Avett Brothers, OneRepublic, Third Eye Blind, Flo Rida, The Chainsmokers and nearly 100 additional music and comedy acts.
KAABOO has curated the lineup to be a musical journey from legendary classic rockers to the some of the latest, most buzz-worthy chart-toppers. Creating a bill that is even more diverse and deep than the inaugural year, KAABOO has established a mix of bands where guests can see their favorites, cross acts off their bucket list and find new favorites all in the same weekend.
After dusk, when the outdoor stages have settled and you’re not quite ready to call it a night, check out ENCORE, KAABOO’s late-night dance party open from 10:00am-2:30am on Friday and Saturday night. Encore allows guests the extra time craved to continue the fun and dance the night away! Attendees 18 and over can enter the expanded indoor, air-conditioned venue that will feature world-class bands and DJs, including The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Ludacris, Matoma, RAC and Andrew Luce. Bigger and better than last year, ENCORE is guaranteed to wow!
Additionally, making sure there is something for everyone, KAABOO’s extensive lineup also includes a full cast of comedians, which was previously announced to include The Cast of Silicon Valley (with T.J. Miller), Dana Carvey, Jeff Ross, Darrell Hammond and Janeane Garofalo.
Information on the enhanced experienes coming to KAABOO as well as the featured contemporary art, food, craft libations and more is set to be announced this summer.
